About

Dr. Sanders received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Adelphi University where he is currently an adjunct professor. His research focused on the impact of mental illness on the client as well as the client's family, trauma and therapy process and outcomes. He has experience working with diverse populations and individuals of all ages, economic, cultural, ethnic, spiritual, racial, and sexual identities on a wide range of issues. Dr. Sanders worked with children, adolescents and adults in major clinics and hospitals throughout the New York Metropolitan area.   Beyond his clinical experience, Dr. Sanders functioned in the past as an attorney and a training specialist and lived in different countries, experiences which allow him to understand and relate to the complexities of varying personal and professional circumstances.
